Zentrum fuer Europaeische Wirtschaftsforschung
The ZEW in Mannheim is a non-profit economic research institute funded in 1990 carrying out economic research, economic counselling and knowledge transfer. Around 100 researchers are working in 7 research units. It takes a predominantly microeconomic and microeconometric research approach and has distinguished itself in particular in the creation of micro-level databases and comparative analysis at the European level.
Its main contribution will be to lead on WP2: Technology indicators.
